My Training style
My training style is based around seven fundamental principles of training combined with the ability to understand an individuals personality, what type of coaching and communication that person will respond best too.
Assessing and correcting imbalances and weaknesses.
Attention to detail regarding postural alignment and correct technique.
Growing self confidence in the gym and in your own body.
Building stronger and more efficient movement patterns.
Education on how to sustain a healthy relationship food.
Consistently setting a variety of new goals within different areas of body composition, movement and strength to keep you motivated and enjoying your training.
Creating a healthy balance between work, family, nutrition and training that is sustainable long term.
If you can adopt these principles into your training you can achieve and sustain any goal from stepping into the gym for that first intimating time and then finding a love for exercise to reaching the body you’ve always dreamed of but never been able to obtain.
My fitness philosophy
My overall fitness philosophy is about creating a sustainable lifestyle of improved physical and mental health. I aspire to help people use exercise to improve their physical health but also to find new confidence in themselves and improve their overall mental health. In my personal experience, exercise has always been an equal split between what it does for me physically and what it does for me mentally. When I’m training consistently I feel more confident in myself, my mood and mindset are more controlled and clear and I’m more motivated and disciplined at work and at home. This is my approach to fitness, these by products of consistent training are much more valuable to me than a 6 pack, muscles are great but a healthy mental well being is irreplaceable.
Whether it's your first journey into fitness at 18 or 35, or have been on a roller coaster of inconsistency, sometimes we just need a little support and guidance to get that one break through year. Change doesn’t happen overnight but with consistent effort and patience, it is more than possible. Look at your physical and mental health as a long term investment because 10 years from now you will either reap the rewards or pay the price for how you’ve looked after yourself.
My job is to help guide, educate and empower you on your journey of self improvement and change but over time provide you with enough education and skills to be able to obtain your goals and sustain them yourself, becoming self sufficient. That is the mark of a great personal trainer.
My Favourite Workout
Starts with some mobility, imbalance and postural corrective exercises.
Strength component 4 - 6 reps on a compound exercise.
Something fun and functional maybe some kind of carry, some body weight work and a power/plyometric exercise.
Finishing off with some muscle isolation exercises and some form of metabolic superset to finish nice and sweaty.

"Before training with Jaiden, my exercise routine mainly consisted of cardio.
