My Training style
I believe the simplest approach is often the most effective approach. I start with basic foundational movements, teach perfect technique, master core strength and positioning, and then increase the intensity gradually over time!
I incorporate lots of variety into my programming – with me you’ll learn how to use dumbbells, kettlebells, machines, the barbell, battle ropes, gymnastics rings, and your own bodyweight!
My fitness philosophy
As a clinical psychologist in training, I believe exercise and diet are our most powerful tools to combat the global mental health epidemic and improve mental wellbeing. Exercise is medicine!
My goal as a trainer is to help my clients integrate exercise and healthy eating habits to become a normal part of their daily routine.
Achieving fitness goals is a marathon, not a sprint!
My Favourite Workout
This workout is targeted to a beginner-to-intermediate (in order). With a cardio finisher.
CORE. • Hollow body hold, 2 sets of 30 seconds. • Ab wheel rollout, 2 sets of 10 reps.
STRENGTH. • Unilateral leg press, 3 sets of 10 reps. • Seated cable row, 3 sets of 12 reps. • Kettlebell sumo deadlift, 3 sets of 12 reps. • Unilateral kettlebell shoulder press, 3 sets of 10 reps. • Gymnastics ring static hold, 3 sets, as long as possible.

"I started training with Jordan about 4 months ago. I felt I needed a personal trainer because I didn’t have any knowledge on how to train. I had only done group classes in my past and hadn’t exercised for long time.
Training with Jordan has been such a wonderful experience. He is kind, encouraging and pushes me to achieve things I never thought I could do, like a ring hold. Jordan’s sessions are fun and challenging and every month we slowly progress to more advanced moves.
From basic moves from my first session such as lunges to moving onto the barbell which I’m starting to learn. Jordan incorporates gymnastics, cardio and strength training which make the sessions balanced and varied.
After 4 months, I’ve noticed some slight changes to my body. My legs and glutes feel more toned and I have gained some muscle to my arms and shoulders. I have a lot more energy than before and feel happier.
I love training with Jordan and this whole experience has taught me so much. Over the next few months with Jordan I hope to achieve more upper body strength so I can do a push up, further tone up my lower body, get the hang of the barbell and work on my core. "
"Jordan was my personal trainer and he was fantastic. I came to him with a very specific goal that I wanted to learn Olympic lift movements like clean and jerks and snatches. Jordan was the perfect trainer for this.
